It was little more than a week ago that we were lamenting that Starcraft 2 would not be coming to the AppStore any time soon. Unbeknownst to us, indie developer Pixel Stream has been working on the silver lining to that news for almost 8 months, with the release of their Starcraft-esque real-time strategy game, Armada – Galactic War [AppStore].

We have submitted Armada – Galactic War to the App Store. It is pending for review by the App Store. We should see the game live in a week. In the meantime you can enjoy this video of our game play. We recorded the game play on an iPad (iPhone iPod touch resolution double sized).

We have officially started public beta testing for Armada – Galactic War. Due to the length of time we have on the game we are going to hold off on the 6th map from the final release. If you wish to beta test please email info@jumpthestream.com with your full name, location, device and device uid.
We have added map 05 to the list of maps to be released with Armada – Galactic War. We have 1 more map design left.
Map 04 is completed. We have 2 more maps to add for the first release of Armada – Galactic War. As far as production goes we are hooking up all the little things. Most of the big tasks for the game is completed. The system and framework is in place. We are going to start polishing up everything soon and prepare for beta testing. The last set of assets would be the Alien Race.
We have 3 maps added to Armada – Galactic War. We are going to ship the first version of the game with 6 maps total.
We have added two official maps to our game. We plan on having 6 maps for the initial release of Armada – Galactic War.
We’ve added new Cyborg units to the Cyborg Armada. We are working on the rest of the Cyborg units and will soon complete the Cyborg Armada fleet.
