Armada: Galactic War is a highly engaging game, allowing the player to take control of one of three races and wage an all out war with up to three other players in a vibrantly detailed 3-D environment.
“After the success of our first game, we were confident in our ability to exceed what we thought our potential was,” said Dang Tran, one of the developers of Pixel Stream LLC.  “Instead of taking the logical steps in building another game that’s on the same parallel to Leaf Bound, we wanted to go in a different direction by going all out with creating a game that would be very unique to iTunes’s App Store.”

Armada: Galactic War throws players into intense battles between humans, cyborgs and aliens on many strategically distinct battlefields.  With each battle being very fast-paced and action-packed, a player can go through each battle in a matter of minutes and collect credits at the end that can be used to customize their army with upgrades, keeping the player occupied for hours.

“We understand that most iPhone users want to play games that only last for minutes while on the go.  However, a single session in a traditional real-time strategy games usually takes at least half an hour to finish.  We wanted to create a game that combines the elements of mobile games and the intensity of real-time strategy games,” explains Tony Liu, another Pixel Stream LLC developer.  “It was a challenge, but we definitely did and our team is very confident in Armada [the game] based on the feedback we have received,” in reference to many of the beta testers that became addicted themselves.

Zing Multiplayer Network will be the game’s backbone that allows up to four players to go against each other.  Its network allows for players to go against others of similar skills and experience.  Therefore, each battle will be engaging for everyone, from the novice to the battle-hardened veteran.

Armada: Galactic War is now available in the iTunes’s App Store for the iPhone and iPod Touch.  A high resolution version will also be available for the new iPad, taking advantage of its powerful hardware.

SAN DIEGO, California — After months of development, Pixel Stream LLC (http://www.jumpthestream.com) has released their very first-ever mobile game application on the iPhone™, iPod touch^®, now available for download in the iTunes^® App Store (http://itunes.com/games/leafbound).

“Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem” is a highly addictive game which allows for the player to take control of our hero Yuri as she bounces from leaf to leaf to reach the top and stop the evil mecha (robotic) monkey bosses. Sure enough, the evil mecha monkey minions are up to no good and will try to stop Yuri at all cost. Be ready for all their monkey tricks and weapons, and help Yuri defeat the bosses equipped with deadly sleighs, industrial pirana cranes and even laser-armed rocket ships!

“When Dang Tran (web content developer) approached me with this idea and the big picture, I thought it was an extremely ambitious goal for us,” said the once skeptical Duy Yin (computer graphics designer). However, challenges and obstacles are nothing new to these entrepreneurs who immediately began work on the game.  After countless weeks of brainstorming game concepts, prototyping ideas, and working into the night after returning from their day jobs, everything just fell into place.  “It was pretty rough”, said Tony Liu (programmer), “but it was pretty rough like playing games with friends all night and then having to go to school the next day. Exactly what we used to do.”  The company was formed on February 18, 2009, and today they released their first game, “Leaf Bound: Mecha Monkey Mayhem.”
